My reading lately.

I recieved as a subscriber to Easton Press Signed First Edition series "The Road to Woodstock" by the founder of the production- Michael Lang. I was leery at first but the more I read the more interesting it became. Not a role model for the young but his persistence and ability have to be admired. Music, of course, was a big factor and his interaction with most of the stars of the 50's and 60's was informative.

The one I'm reading now by Terryl Givens, who I put in Hugh Nibley's footsteps, has done it again. After concentrating on the Book of Mormon, and anti-Mormon lit. he becomes the world expert on Pre-Mortal existence. He delves deeply into philosophy and theology which may be a far too much for many to handle but you won't find such in depth treatment anywhere else for a long time.

This is where he outdoes Nibley because he gets it published by Oxford University press which is not easily done with such a prestigious press. This also guarantees a world-wide audience. One odd thing about it is that the copyright date and date of publication is 2010. I've only read the first 100 pp. so far- Excellent.
