Fall rain

It's raining now and we got almost half an inch overnight. I went out to check and found this collection of leaves in my backyard.

I'm also reading a 900 page book on Theodor Roosevelt THE WILDERNESS WARRIOR by Douglas Brinkley. Slow reading but an excellent biography.

Have made some calls and Frank and Carol have helped a lot, in trying to ideentify the Big Bands that played in Gettysburg when I was a teenager. Amazing we heard Tommy and Jimmy Dorsey, Ray McKinley, Louis Armstrong and Lawrence Welk. That's like having Bruce Springsteen, Michael Jackson and Hannah Montana (Miley Cyryus) come to Gettysburg now.
